The chart below is a guide to the stone size range of our gravel and decorative products:

**Each Stone gradation can contain up to 10% upper and lower grades and some fine material (sand).


For stone sizing in our upper range -- 4" down to 2"
This covers products such as Rip Rap, Large decorative Pebbles, and cobbles. Their weight makes them a sturdy and excellent decorative stone, commonly used for landscaping and for creating borders and outlining gardens, driveways and walkways.

For stone sizing in our middle range -- 2" down to 1/2"
This covers products such as Granite and Limestone Gravel, along with Decorative stone / Pebbles and Recycled Crushed Concrete -- all excellent choices for driveways, Each product type offers the same amount of functionality and aesthetics.

For stone sizing in our lower range -- 1/2" down to dust (industry term for sand, stone dust and tiny particles):
Products in this range are reliabily more compactible and suited for creating base layers -- products such as Crusher Run / Type 1, Screenings, Sand and Soil.

For support of heavy vehicles -- choose our #2 or #3 stone
For standard driveways -- choose our #57 or #5
For more decorative driveways -- choose our #57 to #8 Decortive gravel
For driveways / paths more comfortable to walk upon -- choose our #8
