What the price covers

Every price on this page includes VAT and delivery to London. There is nothing added at checkout, and you do not need an account to see prices or to order. Prices differ from one postcode to the next because haulage from the nearest quarry, gravel pit or depot is part of the cost – the closer the material is to you, the less you pay for moving it.

How the material arrives

Four delivery methods are available, and which ones you can choose depends on the product and on what the depots serving your area can reach:

Bulk bag on a pallet – roughly 800 kg per bag, brought on a pallet network vehicle and set down kerbside on solid ground with a pump truck.
Bulk bag with a crane – the same bag, delivered on a HIAB lorry that can lift it over a wall or hedge and place it where you want it.
Loose load tipper – material tipped straight onto hard standing. The access route needs to be at least 3.5 m wide and able to take a heavy goods vehicle.
Poly bags on a pallet – 20 kg bags, for smaller jobs or where a bulk bag will not fit.

Before you order

Check the width of the access route and decide where the material should be put down. Deliveries usually arrive one to three working days after payment clears. You do not have to be there, but if you are not, the driver chooses where to unload – so leave written instructions if the spot matters. Gravel, sand and soil cannot be delivered onto a soft or sloping surface unless a crane or grab truck is used.
